This aerial adventure soars over one of the nation's most geologically diverse states. Wings Over Washington explores the stunning landscapes of Washington— via the wings of a majestic Thunderbird.  Guests soar over the seaside cliffs of the Olympic National Forest and over the majestic Mount Rainier; then onto the stunning San Juan Islands and to the thundering Snoqualmie Falls.

The filming of "Wings Over Washington" involved an intricate blend of cutting-edge technology, creative cinematography, and meticulous planning. Using helicopters, drones, and high-resolution 6K cameras, the team captured breathtaking footage.

Constructing a complex project like this is inherently challenging, but doing so atop a historic pier, suspended over 50 feet of water, posed unique challenges. The scientific precision required to ensure a stable foundation amidst significant dynamic load shifts was crucial for delivering the seamless flight simulation experience.

Pier 57 Miner’s Landing is a refurbished 1890’s Gold Rush pier nestled in the heart of the Northwest. The pier offers an array of authentic Northwest dining experiences, regionally curated gifts and apparel, and fun-filled activities and entertainment.
